What actually is Scientology?
Scientology – initially developed by L. Ron Hubbard starting in the 1950’s – is a philosophy having its roots in the teachings of Buddhism and other Eastern tenets and philosophies. Simply put, Scientology is the science of knowing how to know answers.
As a science, Scientology is based on many axioms (self-evident truths), similarly to algebra or geometry, which are also based on axioms. Through the use of spiritual methods it can resolve many of the difficult conditions encountered in life.
Scientology addresses the person, you, as a spiritual being. Its purpose is to provide a fundamental understanding of yourself and life as such, and help improve living conditions.
Therefore, it follows the ancient eastern maxim saying: “All that we are, is the result of what we think. All that we are, is built in our thoughts and was built by our thoughts.”
“To obtain a certainty one must be able to observe.”
New Slant on Life – L. Ron Hubbard
“A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war,
where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights,
and where Man is free to rise to greater heights,
are the aims of Scientology.”

I love Scientology. Do you know why? Because I love life! At the age of 40, I already started smelling the death coming. The inevitable pattern of life knocked at my door. Who can deny it? Who can say, oh no! I don’t want that! I will better follow another pattern! It is so definite and also so cruel, everybody has to experience death, having identified himself with the body. And there comes Scientology to reverse the whole thing. From the very early steps on the Bridge I saw myself becoming more and more alive, more and more fresh and new. I see the same happening to my friends as well. I have not noticed any exception until now. It is really miraculous. To have the possibility to say “YES to life and NO to death”. The body can have its own way, no problem, and we, very well can take the way up, be and stay forever alive, fresh and new. The eternity belongs to us, we can have it real and solid. It is delivered on the Bridge and available for all. Isn’t it good news? – Y.
